Review: I purchased this printer for $199 after reading review on it. It has printed superbly and is extremely quiet. Also seems to use less ink than prior HP printers. Prints fast except for photos, but considering the quality of the photos, that is to be expected. It omits ink on some larger photos printed, a "white" line (1-5 lines) on the page. Others are experiencing this also. It appears to be completely random. Probably a driver problem, but HP has not correctly fixed. Their response it to change from PhotoRet to 1200x2400 when doing large photos, but it doesn't correct the problem. Their other solution was to load the printer driver for one of the 800 model printers, but that reduces quality and has caused me other problems. In all a great printer, but if doing a lot of photos, wait for a solution or pass.
Pluses: Very quiet, beautiful color photos on photo paper. Minuses: Prints lines (leaves blank space rather) on 8X10 photos occasionally. HP not dealing with problem.
Suggestions: Better customer service. Suggestions: Fix printer or printer driver problem with photo printing (others experienced problem too)
