Review: This is my favorite coffee maker yet, and I tried them all. I like it better than the Cuisinart or Mr. Coffee by far. It has the vacuum stainless thermal pot that it drips into so you don't need heat on, the coffee doesn't deteriorate for hours, and it stays hot. I don't even use the timer because it cooks so fast. The coffee sits on the grounds for a minute so it steeps better and has more flavor and caffeine. It's an attractive pot. I make it and put the pot in the living room on my day off and don't have to get back up or transfer it to another vessel. It can use the permanent gold filter so you don't have to buy them. IT HAS NOT OVERFLOWED LIKE THE MR COFFEE THERMOS and I never got burned on the lid like the Cuisinart. The lid action is easy to use and big enough for arthritis persons. I like it a lot.
