Review: Just bought this set after considerable shopping around. In my opinion the price/quality ratio is at a peak for an HD-capable set of this size. Now it's installed, the set, although large, does not dominate the living room of a smallish New York apartment as I had feared it might do. It gives a great picture with an ordinary (non prog.scan) DVD player. The 5 default settings for color balance have one that's not too garish, although I'll probably adjust it as I get used to the set. The remote controller seems fairly intuitive if you're comfortable with such things. Definitely a huge improvement over the old Sony 23 inch I've had for the last 10 years, but bear in mind that this is a first impression, since I've only had the set for a few days.
