Review: All in all I love my Kirby. I feel it does an excellent job of cleaning and removing ground in dirt in carpets and upholstery. It came with every attachment possible so using it on my walls, baseboards, etc. is a breeze. The machine is heavy to carry so that may be a downfall for some. The carpet shampoo system is not worth the time or trouble to use, the only thing it does is make the carpet smell better but doesn't do any cleaning that I could tell. The only other disappoint has been the customer service I recieved after purchasing the Kirby in my home. I was to receive a year's worth of vacuum bags and carpet cleaner. They send 3 bags at a time but it has always taken 3 to 4 phone calls and up to 2 months to get them sent in the mail. The machine though has had no maintence problems and comes with a lifetime limited warranty.
Pluses: Can't believe the difference in the suction, cleanest my carpets and furniture have been. Minuses: The machine is somewhat bulky and heavy .
